Time to take a trip to Sweden for the winter to practice. Of course for those who dont have to work. ;D

Yeah, but they're gay.  Anyone can do that on a TZ.  Now a YZ80...Yeah, baby! ;D

The mid-West should have some great frozen lakes.  Maybe we need to start doing this in the US.

Although I think it will teach you how to slide the rear around on the ice, it will be a totally different experience on rain tires and a wet track.  Even though it's ice, those studded tires will provide more grip than any rain tire could.

When was the last time you tried to do a stoppy in the rain?

the_weggie_man

Different subject my man.  Why would you want to try a stoppie in the rain?

Ice riding trains you well in many aspects of bike handling that you would not normally experience on the track in summer.

You need to try it if you haven't. Ask anyone who has and they will tell you they are a better roadracer because of it.  Just like flat tracking is a super training ground for roadracers, so is ice riding.

Bike control is what it's all about.

Once it was said...

"Dirt Track is an exaggerated form of Road Racing."  It looks different, but it is very similar.
