Dunno...

Fine's a fine.  Not knowing or anything doesn't change anything.  Pay it, and go from there.

At some point, a commitee can't rule on everything, and someone has to make decisions.

I know that we keep asking for fines to be imposed in the MW CCS region for things we think are stupid.

Adam, pay the fine and be done with it.

Or we can just keep going on and on.

I want more pictures.  Those were frickin' funny...regardless of who they were of...

Dave--I did pay the fine, several months ago.

LRRS sent it back with a refusual to accept it.

Whats the point in assessing a fine if you have no intention of allowing it to be paid?

Because they no longer want you as a customer....

Suzy - bummer about no pics - the url kicked ass and worked quite well I believe :)

Adam - wonder if stupid crap like this thread got them to the point where they sent the fine back and if you hadn't gone around lying about how they were going to trade it for garage fees or some other crap they might have taken it and you could race there.

Chris (the LRRS one) - Never having met you I think I may learn to hate you for all this  ;D

Aaaagh ... nonononononononono!

("Press here to restart vicious cycle.") "  Click.

"I did pay the fine, several months ago."

Weeks would be more correct, but either way it ignores the fact that it was months too late.  AS CHRIS WROTE, they were ready to accept payment from you immediately.  If you'd had paid it that day ... or that week, or that month ... you coulda been someplace else than where you are now.

Instead, you chose to write "LRRS will never see another dime from me."  And offer B.S. equivocations about how you "might have paid it, or someone paid it for you, or it might have been dropped ... " la de da de da.

You parsed yourself right out of the club, Adam, and out of the respect of every one else who reads your tripe.  The someplace you're at is your, um, "vacation home" perched on thin ice with the only club-type roadracing organization that has offered you a license.

Now, ignore 99% of the above and ask me to explain one little detail again.  Or parse something to your own advantage, again.  Or for the umpteenth time say "show me where I did this?"

You'll never give up.  That's apparent.  But you'll never, ever, win.

Click, click, click, click.

No, it was months ago, I sent it back in October.   I have the returned envelope and paperwork (dated Nov 2nd) right here.

And for all the talk of 'who paid the fine', did you forget that YOU yourself offered to pay the fine yourself if I came back to race with you?  Yes, its easy to forget, isn't it.

If YOU and everyone else who also urged me to just pay the fine thought it was reasonable to send in a check at that point in time, there was no reason for me to think any differently.

Damn me for actually following the suggestion of the glorified 'rider rep' and it turns out HE's wrong as well.

btw, it was sent only two weeks after the last event of the season.

whew!  I finally caught up.  I was 8 laps down, but managed to make it up this morning.

This is simply amazing.  I said a while back that this was like dealing with my kids, but this FAR exceeds what they're capable of...

I guess I was wrong about the date Adam sent it in.

But clearly, it was still too late -- due to the passage of time, or the passage of deleterious comments, outbound through his servers.

Ooops, wrong again ... the internet Adam is not the "real" Adam, is it?

As the poster child for those afflicted with an inflated ego, Adam is the "glorified" one here.  It's true that against the advice of the management, the other rep, and most everyone else I spoke to, I tried to help him out.

I just didn't realize he was beyond saving, so damn ME for trying to help him.  And he can be assured, I WILL NOT FORGET trying to help only to find out that he lied to me when beseeching my help.

As far as I'm concerned, it was really all over at that point.  And since we don't live in the same state, no longer race in the same organization, and I have a delete key, it's time to say "Goodbye" to Adam.

This the last post I will ever make on this subject.

I doubt it, you've said that before.

And no, I never lied to you.  Two sides to every story, like I said.  You choosing to accept one over another is your choice, as is your opinion of mine.  None of is it fact, all opinion.

Did you, or did you not offer to pay the fine just a few months ago?  Because you weren't helping me any then, you were just urging me to send in a payment for the fine--which I did.

So, you're basically saying that following the 'rider reps' suggestions is not a good idea, because even following their suggestions aren't going to work.
