Ok, I'm trying to get some type of plan going for Daytona & I have a few questions.

1) Camping allowed, yes or no?
2) If no, is there a certain hotel that racers stay? Maybe discounted rates for racers?
3) Any idea on the schedule, 27th practice, 28th CCS races, 29th FUSA races, etc..?

Any other info who be helpful. ;)
Thanks!

Hi Peanut!
1-  No camping is allowed at Daytona.  Everyone must by out by 1 hour after the last race.
2-  There isn't a "host" hotel...I'd just book as early as possible.  Rooms fill up very fast at Daytona, and are incredibly expensive.  Go to Priceline.com or Hotwire.com for the best deals.
3-  As far as the schedule, it should run pretty similar to Daytona schedules of the past.  However, like everything in this world, nothing is set in stone.  There is a Team Hammer day on the Wednesday before racing.

Tiff,

Is there a Daytona schedule from last March you can email me, or is the ROC also a good 1 to go by?

Tiff,

The pricewatch.com and alike cannot sell hotel rooms for less due to Bikeweek and Biketoberfest being blackout dates.  I had a real run in with them about that.

Speaking of Daytona.

Has the mailer/pre-entry gone out yet? or is it available on-line yet?

I thought I saw a post here talking about it, but I can't find it.
