I am excited to see the US MotoGP event televised on ABC.  That is HUGE.  I think this will go a long ways with us down at the club level...

Usually, local stations can preempt them.  It's happened before with motorcycle races.  I can hope.  I have ABC on my TV!

yeah. it would be nice to have people watch the race without having speedTV.  That's the excuse I get a lot

The race is being shown live on Speed before it goes on ABC.  Dont know if that will have any affect on how ABC airs the race

  ABCs' race coverage of indycar always goes to side by side during commercial breaks so you won't miss anything. Hope they do that for the GP.

I saw that last year and thought someone finally did something smart with TV programming! Want to have your commercials get seen, split the screen, simple yet brilliant in my opinion!
