The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I think Guy's major liability expires when Barb gets rid of the vehicle, but like murder, there is no statute of limitations on crashing your buddy's wife's car!
(Although when I told this story to my wife, her reaction was, "Some friends THEY were, letting the poor guy drive in that condition!")

Guy,

This is what you get for trying to race at any track other than BHF!  Not only do you crash on the track, but you crash on the road coming into the track.

I really don't think you will ever live it down.  Maybe you should see if the FBI can put you in their witness relocation program, give you a new identity and move you to a new town.  Sure, you won't ever be able to see your family or friends again, but, you wouldn't have to be that GUY anymore...
