A good friend of mine is in need of individuals to fill out a very simple and short survey about motorcycle stands.  This will take no longer than a couple of minutes.  His original post from a different forum is below.  The results of this survey will be well worth it in the future. Thanks in advance  :thumb:

Need your help and knowledge on this one. I have a six (6) question survey about cycle stands, and I need help to get this done. Just look at a picture and answer the questions. This one minute survey is for a good cause that will become clear once you receive the survey. Protocol requires that the survey originate with me and I email you the survey. please give me a minute of your time and email me for the survey @ chris@trademarksearch.com.

Thank you and Contact me with any questions

Jeff, He doesn't want the survey distributed amongst us. There are control rules that must be followed so you have to email him and request the survey.

So are we just supposed to email him from his post on the other forum or is he going to post on this form.  Didn't know if he wants to keep his surveys seperated by forums.  Different forums, different group of people.  It might be helpful for him to set up a different email address for people that take the survey from here.  If I was doing the survey I would want to know which forum produced which answers, that might also be my analness (is that really a word?) from owning my own business for 13yrs.

The survey is not posted on any forum, you have to email him to request a copy of the survey. The results of the survey are not forum specific and he wants to maintain control of the survey. Send an email to chris@trademarksearch.com and he will send you a copy.

I've taken this survey myself, and have a link to it over on TrackdayMag.com.  It's very important.  Take it and you'll be doing something good for the sport. :thumb:
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I was handed a survey at the track this weekend, and filled it out, but the guy never made it back around to collect it.  (Possible that he stopped back and I wasn't there though...)

Is there an address I can mail it back to?  (Or mayble email a scan of it?)

I'll email the address in the first post too.

I also received the survey this weekend, but never filled it out as I ended up getting injured.  Anyway, its not exactly clear what this survey is supporting, or not supporting.  I have a slight problem contributing to something where the guy that gave me the survey pretty much said he couldn't tell us what the survey was for.  I don't want to contribute to something i may or may not support.  Just because the guy that gave me the survey says its a good idea, doesn't mean i would necessarily agree.  The survey i am guessing, involves some sort of lawsuit.  But if I don't know who is suing who, or for what, I simply can't support them by offering my opinion.

Let me add that i never actually read through the survey...so maybe it clears up what it is for when you read it.

Ridgeway

It's pretty clear.  I had reservations before I read it too, but after a read through, it seems to be on the up and up.

Nothing weird or diabolical going on, and yes that was me doing the survey. Thank you everyone who helped out with the surveys. Now, I just need your help in getting them back.

If you did not recognize me it is probably because I am a track day guy. Last year I had a long pony tail, and so my clean look may have thrown a few people off. I know Butch, Ike, and the Lithium guys were a bit started by my more respectable look. For point of reference, I am familiar to the NESBA and STT people as well as the Safety First people

Thank you everyone for helping out and taking the survey. I hope you can appreciate that to protect the accuracy and integrity of the survey, I could not broadcast all aspects of the survey before you took it. Notice I also refrained from volunteering to complete the survey for you. If anyone asked me a question about the survey or who I was, I answered honestly and accurately. I just refrained from providing too much detail until after you completed the survey. To do otherwise would inpinge credibility and defeat the pupose.

Hope this clears things up. For those that still have their surveys, and were spooked about the signature line that said " I declare under penalty of perjury....," I apologize. You can just scratch out "under penalty of perjury" and sign it. I'm a lawyer, and sometimes we use boilerplate language.

Please fax the completed surveys back to me or scan / email them back to:

And yes, I am a Pit Bull guy, and I promise, no more surveys on race weekends. Track days only.
