Do or do not, there is no "try".

I thought Denning had his 600 just under 10?

ROFLMAO...
When I read that yesterday I KNEW there would be comments.

Would have only been better with a Brian Hall quote of "and then we packed up the 12' trailer and went home.  We stopped at Taco Bell along the way".

Jim talked to Denning....the fastest he has ever gone on a 600 was 10.6

It is interesting that Bobby caught Brian in a handful of laps from the 5th and 6th row and passed him and went on to win both races....others didn't do that:)

Well either way it all doesn't matter about the lap times because I know I'll be doing 9's there the weekend after Road America in June. I'm sure others will also be doing 9's too. I was almost there on Sunday. I already know I wasn't riding my hardest yet plus my setup wasn't right until the last race of which the track got greasy from coolant. If qualifiying was still there it would make it much easier to run faster times since there is less worry about slower riders ruining a great lap.

We'll duke it out then. For now let the BSing commence!

No one will really knows until CCS actually make official announcements. You think that CCS would want to make it official that there series has the fastest riders on that track right?

I did a 10.6 there in 2004 and Mark Junge beat it later that day with a 10.5.
I wasn't there when Dan did a 10.0 and nobody made an official announcement. So bad on Dan for not making a Press Release or CCS for not making a Press release.

All I have to say about Dan's time is that it wasn't publicly known. Last I knew was Mark Junge still owned it going into this weekend.
Kevin made a statement about the last known record and that Bobby Fong (hats off to his time for never being there before) did a 10.3 who beat the last known record.

I attended several races last year and watched many weekends and only saw one weekend where someone actually did a high ten. Race paces were usually in the 11's sometimes 12's.

So all in all the times overall have fallen and will keep falling with the new tires and bikes.
I can't wait for the next round. Count me in for some high 9's for sure.
Bring on your A game next time everyone.
CCS better have an official scoring method ready. :thumb:

By the way I also did a 10.3 and low /mid 10's on Sunday. I did that time while I was royally pissed off trying to catch Brian Hall because I got the meatball flag for doing a power wheelie out of the pit on the hot lap.

I need to clarify what went down there. I left first and hammered out of the pits doing a power wheelie. I actually now am using a quick shifter for the first time and when the front tire was up I just grabbed another gear and it kept going. Well according to tons of witnesses my teammate Brian Hall & Ryan Johnson also grabbed a couple hammer down wheelies out of the pits.

Pit marshall then told my pit crew along with many others to watch out because they were bringing 2 bikes into the pits of which were myself & Brian Hall for doing wheelies leaving the pits.

Well after nailing a great start from the 3rd rowI ended up second behind brian coming out of the last turn. I saw a meatball flag but didn't bother looking because I knew I didn't jump the start anyways.
Next lap I saw it a again & saw my number. Man was I pissed! I had no choice but to pull in. I pulled in and took off for the front again. I was back in 3rd on that same lap. I caught & passed Johnson in 2 more laps to put myself back in 2nd. I set off for Brian but didn't have enough time to catch him. During all that ran a string of my fastest laps & I managed a 10.6 - 10.5-10.4-10.3 all while running turn 1 too hot everytime.
I wouldn't have been able to run those times sitting behind Brian because I didn't have the power to get around him.
I mean hats off Brian's & Johnson's riding this weekend. I think I had a little more than they did since I caught them so quick. Brian had some good power this weekend so I lost ground on the straights. Damn I got to twist the throttle further right?

Now why Brian or Johnson didn't get a stop & go penalty is beyond me. What is the definition of a wheelie? I admit if that is the stupid rule then I broke it. But why just me? A wheelie is a wheelie if the front tire comes off the ground it breaks the rule right?
I guess to me I was the fastest so make it fair and give it to me right? Pit marshalls said they were bringing us both in but only I got the penalty. According to control tower I was the only one they saw. I say Bullshit because they were right on my ass.

All I have to say CCS is "Tell it like it is" don't sit up in the tower and feed lines of shit. Tell us the real reason it happend.

Don't even get me started about the ambulance incident or the blue flag thing at the riders meeting!
