GAS :boink:-- and Paul- even though my racing was curtailed after receiving your shields- I have used them on my streetbike to see what all the hulabaloo is about and I gotta say - especially with these 52 yr ole eyes, the clarity is unbelievably better than the previous choices I've used- next season I will finally get to  use them- THANKS BIG! cat

Just something that will never happen in my life...........happiness and good will for all. Wouldn't it be wonderful?

Laurel got her unexpected gift Sat. morning at Corse Superbikes. We went there for their annual Christmas gathering of friends. Coffee, soft drinks, snacks and lots of cookies.

As I was scanning the many machines on the sales floor I noticed a bike that we had talked about for Laurel. A DR200 dual sport Suzuki. I called her over and had her sit on it for sizing purposes. She is vertically challenged after all, ya know? Though it is a little tall we decided with a little creativity we could get it down to a rideable level for her. So.......Laurel is now the proud owner of a 2005 (slightly used) DR200 Suzuki. The bike was a loaner to a MSF riders school, so it has a little wear on it but very minor stuff. Considering it's going in the dirt anyway, what the hell are a few scratches?

Sammy gave us such a deal on the bike ..........we had to buy it!!

So, once again, Merry Christmas to all................and to all a good bike!!

Just for Laurel, Paul.  We had no intention of buying a bike when we went there Sat. Just one of those impulsive buys that seemed so right.

Congrats to Laurel!  Don't forget to offer her a post ride 'rub down' after riding the rough stuff!

Merry Christmas from Bahrain!  I finally made it, and I mean FINALLY!  I started out on the 22nd, and got here on the 25th.  I won't bore you with the gruesome details.  Spent the 25th doing some shopping and going to a Christmas party.  Yeah, that was strange, considering where I am, and it was like I was teleported back to the States.  My son greeted me at the airport with a long stem red rose, and I cried.  Many things planned for me the next 10 days, which should be fun!  Love you guys, and wish you were here!
