I'm trying to get ready.  Having a hard time deciding what items are worth the money and which ones just sound cool.
How about some lead weight bolt on plates?

It might make the bike handle better, I don't thing they make .75kg springs, so lead weights might get her to were she needs to be for the .90s :)

Actually, I have been having this problem that I'm not sure how to address.  The back end always feels like it's up in the air.  I thought it was just me till that uber fast guy on the Kaw 650 said he thought it looked that way too.  I sit really far forward on the tank (so I can reach the bars) do you think a set of those things that move the bars backwards would help so I could shift my weight more?

If ALL your weight was on the front end, it wouldn't be enough, so I wouldn't buy whatever bars you are talking about unless you are spinning the rear, and then I'd still try to adjust the rear.  I've never noticed anything wrong with your rear, but I'm typically distracted by something when I come up behind you.  Do you know what springs you have front and rear? sag numbers? fork height? shock length?

Like you're ever behind me for more than a corner!
I have no idea what's in it.  Suspension confuses me  :ahhh:.  Greg Williams did the front for me and it's all good.  Really good actually.  I think the spring in the rear is one heavier than what I actually needed.
I was just thinking maybe the weight was distributed strangely.  I dunno.

I am going to just jump into your converstation.
You can get custom weight fork springs from traction dynamics for $138.00 shipped to your door.

Jack is right about you springs, too hard = spinning up, torn up tires and lack of feel.
I have only seen you once at Daytona, and I am not sure how much you weigh, but I would venture a guess to say not much.  I would think, if your riding style fits, you could use springs that are stock or lighter than stock.

You might be suprised at how even a small spring change can change the feedback your bike gives you.  My master gave a rear spring to me that was 15lbs lighter that the one I was using.  The difference in feedback from the rear tire was AMAZING!!!!

speaking of SV's....

just because they're opening up the SV's to ULWSB, doesn't necessarily mean that they won't be competitive in LW for a couple more years, right?  i mean, not everyone can afford one of the newer ducs or beemers that have opened up the LW classes.

Maybe. If there are really going to be good grids of 10+ at every event and I know this for sure......then yes. If not.....then I'll stick to the meatgrinder.
