Welcome to lightweight. You'll enjoy this class in yellow plate now that Shun has moved up. He was a cherry picker...  :lmao:

Greetings all,
I've been lurking on this site for over a year but never felt
I had anything to add until now.
Since there are a few other amateurs chiming in I'll add that
I will be racing Lightweight Supersport and other LW classes
all season in GP and MW regions.   I raced last year but only
at MAM and Road America.  I'm hoping to get to at least six
events this year with my Buell XB12R.
I'll be accompanied by another Buell XB12R racer who got
his license late last season and has his bike ready to go for
this season.
We are TRUE amateurs but I had a blast last year and hope to
make steady improvement this coming season.

Awesome to have you on board. This could be one of the best LW groups ever in LW for MW & GP. It is awesome to see so much interest and involvement. By my count Amateur has now exceeded the Expert count in GP. It's tough to get more Experts without a strong Amateur class generating new Experts. This is very encouraging for the series.

Didn't they combine AM and EX in ULW due to the small entries?  Perhaps we could convince CCS to do the same in LW?

Any chance you wanna go straight to white?  :)

Why, does the expert group need a rolling chicane?

Na, just larger grids.  Come on, why do you want to waste your time being a yellow plate? White plates look better anyway.

They do look better, and I am all about style... but I think the AM grid will plenty tough for me.
