Heck Ben, didn't you pull a plug wire on the bike and still make like 80 hp.

Ha, yeah it was pretty fast. It made good power and had a great power band. But its balance is what made it so cool and fast, took a ton of time but that chassis and motor combination was dialed.

I'm thinking  of parting out my sv and already miss it!
I might buy a different bike but LW is my first love.

Me too, yellow this year at least.  So let's get the Yellow Plate list going too, just so we know where we stand.  Here's what I can think of right now:

1. Dave T.
2. Jarel
3. Bruce
4. Jay H.
5. Dan B.
6. Dan Swenson (Or are you going to be Ex this year??)

Who else do we have?

I'll still be amateur.   Only did 2-3 races a weekend (1 of which was alway F40 which doesn't count towards EX qualifying points), and missed a few weekends, so I didn't make point total for EX status.

Now, we need to convince Dean to let the whole field start at once!

I'm feeling warm and tingly all over..... :boink:

I wonder what the criteria for a 2 wave start is.  Last year we always started all at once, but there wasn't that many of us.  This year will be a different story.  Especially since there will be at least 4 1000cc ducks among the yellow plates.  Should be interesting going into turn one!!!

Has anyone petitioned to get Clayton's bike written out of the rules yet?  I think the clause about sparking sliders being a dangerous distraction would fit.  I would post pictures but all I have is a point and shoot and Clayton's bike keeps messing up the exposure.  In fact, on a dark night in Nebraska...if you look towards Omaha you can see a faint red glow in the clouds.

Bring your tinted visors fellas!

All this excitement makes me wonder if I can borrow Kelly's bike for LW.

Oh, and how are my triples coming Dave?

Just to get Rich banned, I'll commit to the whole season! Add my name to the list.

Well I have never ran LW and being that I'm not getting any younger I thought it would be a little more laid back.
Just get a small bike and cruise around and have fun. Boy you guys sound serious. I think I'm getting a little scared. The bike I was going to use only makes about 60 HP and I don't want to be in everyones way. Maybe I'll have to rethink this and go back to the big bikes where I might have a chance.
Just because you have something to say
Doesn't always mean you "SHOULD" say it

Ok, let me help edit your list:

Timmay is unconfirmed. You must remove him until further notice.
Greg is only running Thunderbike. That is only one LW class. When I'm thinking LW, I'm thinking SS, SB, GP, etc.  Thunder is for the Buells.
B-Rock already said he wasn't going to two of the rounds. He is out.
No way KC would do a whole season. He likes his dirty bikes too much.

Getting closer though! I'm gonna have to dust off the ole R6 so I can sell her!

If I did get back into the LW game I was gonna look for a late model G2 SV......but lately I was thinking......if I could find a G1 at a good price......I could keep the R6 and have both.

Clayton, got anything you wanna make a "Rich Wu deal of a lifetime" on? Give me a call.

I think we can build an SV with a remote spark plug cutoff switch :lmao:
