Shelf life of oil?

I bought so much oil in the middle of last year that it's gonna last me through this year. Does oil 'go bad' after a certain time period. Like, can it sit (unopened) for a year or 2 and still be used?

Just wondering if it's OK to be using this stuff.

It goes bad real fast. Just send me all that you have left and I'll "dispose" of it for you.  ;D Don't worry. It's still good.
