So will CCs change the rules to allow it to race?. Looking at the current rulebook Supercharging is not allowed.

Put it in the Light Weight Class! It will fit rite in with all the other high $$ LW bikes! :spank:

No need to change the rules to allow yet another outright purchase of a national championship.

I think it should be allowed in Unltd SB and Unltd GP. As you know in the UL classes it isnt all about hp like it is in LW classes

I was referring to Daytona and the National Championships. There, it is....

Yep HP will win the races for you at Daytona. What is it 3 mi of full throttle out of 3.5 mi in a lap?

It depends on the class. LW and MW classes, sure, HP helps. When it comes to unlimited bikes, there is a point of diminishing returns....I rode a built 1098R one year at Daytona and had a hard time matching my lap times I had done on the MW bike. The big bike will spin the tire on the banking, so you have to run a harder tire which hurts you in the infield, especially critical corners like the exit of the horseshoe, dogleg, exit onto the bankings at the barrel turn and chicane.

I can't imagine a 300 HP bike on the banking. 180 HP is incredibly fast and somewhat scary. Especially coming off NASCAR 4
