I just wanted to let as many people know as possible.  Also, John Ulrich has posted this on his site roadracingworld.com under breaking news on 9-18-2002.  Thanks John.

Here's the thing, $25 buys a chance to win, Kushitani one piece race leathers (donated by Kushitani and Kneedraggers.com), Sidi race boots (donated by Sidi), Tecknic Carbon Race gloves (donated by Tecknic), Pirelli Super Corsa Race tires, 180/120 set (donated by Pirelli), a red Arai Quantum helmet (donated by Bob Buchsbaum of REDUC) and one free 2003 REDUC membership and as many REDUC track days as you can make in 2003.  All of this equipment is a reproduction or copy of the equipment our friend Papa wore while he was racing.  You can see a photo of Papa on his bike by going to www.reduc.com ( it is the photo of the Help Papa icon).

The drawing is to be held at the Sept. 28, 2002 Instructional Reduc Track day, so all entries need to be received before that Friday, September 27.  Submit your name and contact information, address and phone number, e-mail address too if you wish on a business card sized piece of paper or index card stock, or your business card for each entry you desire, i.e. 4 entries, 4 business cards.  You need not be present to win. Mail your entry to:

Papa Thiam
Post Office Box 1180
Forked River, NJ   08731-6180

There is not a two-piece ticket where you get a stub with a number.  We are completely honest about what is going on.  The winner will be contacted.

This package is valued at close to $4,000 and is a great way to get started at track riding or racing.

Once again, All money raised is going to help our fallen friend, Papa Thiam.  All checks are to be made out directly to Papa Thiam.

Thank you,
Walter Pasicznyk

Regarding the leathers, are they some off the rack stuff or can colors be specified?
