As for me I'm staying an Am because I feel cheated

That's crap Copeland, you're going up!   :P

You came on here so now I have to call you out.

4 CCS weekends
8 2nds (You lead most races @ the halfway point.)
3 3rds
3 4ths & 3 5ths
Only 4 races outside of the top 5, 1 6th, 2 8th's & a 9th!

900 points?  You only race 2 to 4 races per weekend. :o and you're perfromance index is over 900!  Not to mention you should have gone up last year and other history.... ;)

White plates my friend.  I'm sending your resume to Sean over @ WERA just to make sure...LOL ;)

Pump gas and race take-offs. ( I slept in the cab of my truck too.) Now that's cheap! It's College for the kids or race parts. Not both. :(

Pump gas & takeoffs?
Stock suspension?  HA!
Try running the season w/ 40 inches of cracks in your frame & steering head :P That'll give ya something to whine about :D .....I should've had Barnicle Bill stitch "B!tch & Moan" on the back of my leathers instead of Nolan  ::)

Hey KC, the ghost of that ex Hopkins/Valvoline bodywork your running, is gonna getcha for defacing it w/ a can of black Krylon...sucka
ps KC: My video camera is broken, so I can't access my footage from Gateway.  When I get a new camera in a month or two, I'll get a VHS tape of your footage to ya.
I'll also post on-bike 'stills' on this board of everyone (including you  ;) )from the last couple of Gateways.

I'm sorry, but what is the difference in you getting passed by experts or amateurs? For a 40+ you sure whine :'( a lot. I can't have stock suspension to get low lap times, I only won a few, I got crashed out by experts, I think my perf. rating was low in those classes, JEEZ!!!!!!!  >:(I told myself I would stop reading all the excuses after the last time I read this thread.
First of all, Dave Ebben did some 1:13's at BHF with his R6 in 2001 with a stock suspension so I guess he didn't "buy the low times" huh? Second, as an amateur you are there to learn how to be smooth, how racing as club person works, how basic tuning and upkeep can help your weekend go better. You aren't guaranteed as an amateur that you will win races. No one has ever said "if  your perf. rating isn't really high in many classes you shouldn't have to go expert." And if CCS waited until every amateur won a championship to plop them up to expert, I don't think the experts would have but ten new riders a year.
Stop being a pu$$y, you have so many excuses "Why should I have to go race win a more competitive class?" it's unbelievable. You obviously can ride pretty well, you won championships.
I won 11 races on my 600 as an amateur, I broke four vertebrae in my neck the first time CCS went to Gateway in 2000, it has taking every bit of hard work to get back down my lap times at any track.I lost all my championship within one race weekend because the fact that my confidence was $hit. I loathed the fact that I had to go expert the following year, but now I think if I hadn't gone expert, riding as an amateur would have gave me a false sense of confidence and possibly got me hurt all over again.
Stop whining, move up, you think every expert on the track has factory suspension ???? You think that every expert on the track won a championship before having the jewels to become an expert ???? Do you believe that every expert on the track has more money in his budget than you ???? I would be willing to answer all of these for you,.......................NO!!
