(I hope I don't run into him at the track. He'll be in big trouble! ) ???

Minder: That coming from a guy afraid to stop wipping on new people???? Bring it grand-pa ;D !

P.S.   Mr. David Lachavich (Spelling?) was an amateur back in 99' in WERA as far as that goes, he also raced against us as an amateur in 2000 at Gateway and did pretty good that weekend also. He is exactly why you shouldn't want to be an amateur again. Where would have YOU finished had the rules been applied to David? Do you want to be the guy that hampers some other new racers start into racing?

No respect for your elders. Am I gonna have to come down there and open up a can of whoop a$$ on you. How big of ole boy are you anyhow? On second thought, I'll just have my grandma do it for me. :P

David ran as an expert this year. His brother Robert was an amatuer. (I think Eric said he was an amatuer just to stir things up. ;D)

Kevin if I remember right, Bam55 is from WI just like me.  So that would be "up there" in your book.

Remember we are the dairy state with a lot of farm boys.  If we can tip a cow, imagine what else we can do.   ;D

No more beer for KC, I think it's talking for him. Go to bed now.

He's too skeerd to say where he's from or who he is!

Big enough to not worry about this poking back and forth.
David had a great interview in Mid-West Sport Rider magazine where after he pretty much dominated the field of amateurs in March last year he acually said how him and someone else won or finished second in a WERA natonal endurence champnship in 2001. All I'm sayig, he was going fast enough that weekend to challenge the top experts. That was his loss,as there are more payouts as an expert.

Oh, by the way :o

Hi, P. J. ;D I just got started in racing this year, so I'm not up on what everybody's done in the past. I raced drag cars for about 20 years. I didn't follow any club racing till I started doing it myself. Bought my first real motorcycle last year. A 2000 GSXR600. (Had a couple of old street/trail bikes when I was a teenager.) A friend of mine talked me into doing a track day and I was hooked. I run about mid pack in formula 40 except at Gateway. (We had 2 double point weekends there) I have no idea why I run so much faster there. I raced at Blackhawk and took 9th (last), 7th(out of 11), 3rd(out of 10). I think your letting the word "Championship" mean more than it should in the case of F40. If you raced in it you would understand. That is just 1 class that I race. I ran GTU and MWGP also. Mid pack at best. If I just run those classes, we wouldn't be having this discusion. I don't think anyone would expect a mid pack, 1st year racer to go expert. Later, Kevin (Be gentle.)

OK, Congrats on having the longest thread ever, in the history of this BBS ;D

But, I think its funny all these people who haven't seen you ride are advising you, one way or another.

Stay Amatuer.  Period.
