Ok. I could have won the F40 expert championship starting from the amateur grid. Was I the fastest amateur? Lap times yes. Results? Not allways. Was I the fastest including experts? A few times. So what? Staying yellow had nothing to do with F40. It had everything to do with a new rider, first year racer, competing in GTU, MWGP ect...  I did what I said I would do. I raced close to home and stayed out of the championship race. I think I made the right decision. I really worked hard on being a safe smooth rider this year. Am I ready to move up? He11 yes! At the beginning of the year, all I wanted to do was get on the track and have fun. The last couple of races I started to click of some decent lap times. I'm still 3 or 4 seconds a lap slower than the lead amateurs. I'll run expert next year and then retire. I can't take K3's abuse. ;D

Kevin, Kevin Kevin...  Abuse?  Nothing you didn't richly deserve. ;D  You just have to use your imagination and retaliate in the proper manner.  I can't believe that by now you haven't started a thread where, based against your performance this year, that K3 (that's me) should be demoted back to amateur for 04.
Of course, I've yet to start a thread about sandbagging amateurs thrusting through the expert wave and bouncing off hapless experts as they pass... ::)

That would be the old "amateur t-bones the expert" story. Where have I heard that one before? Would Rob Lacavich like to comment on this one? ;D Have you got your mirrors installed for St. Louis this weekend? I'm coming for you, K3!
