I think I'm going to buy a Honda NSR500V

Raise your life insurance...

I don't think Honda Japan *ever* listened to Mick Doohan when he told them (repeatedly) that the thing was a monster.

Honda simply had it in their heads that HP made the bike.  GOBS of HP, very light weight, brakes that will throw you over with the slightest hint that you might touch the lever.

Crazy? Insane?

Jef4y,
What you say is very true when talking about the factory NSR500. But the NSR500V is a 500cc v twin that you and I can both buy for about $90,000. I can get a used one for $35,000 and I think it wouldn't be such a big handful to ride one of them. Probably like a really violent version of a TZ250? Either way.. it looks so damn cool! Are you going to get the 600RR for next year?  :)

By the way..  how will you spell your name when you get rid of the F4? Jef5y doesnt sound so good you know?  ;)

IC... damn, that's one pricey bike!  $35k used is a big chunk of change...

As for next year, I went last night and had subsequent talks with a local dealer to engage in a business relationship which would support me on the RR for next year.  The talks went well.

Any which way, I'll be on the RR and have the F4s for rain bikes.

Yeah, I knew it would come to an end...  JeF4-RRy would cover it ;-)  Who knows...

$35k isn't bad.  How much does it cost to buy and Aprilia 250GP bike?  I remember several year ago when the 125 was going for $16k.

A fair 600cc Supersport bike is an easy $12k.

Superbike?  Well, full on is about $250k.

And I'd be happy to set it up for you for free...LOL!  Ok, you can buy me dinner at that restauraunt in Michigan...LOL!

HAH! Yeah I'll let you set it up for me if YOU buy me dinner at that restaurant next year! That was some good food wasn't it? I know you enjoyed the wine atleast. Howcome you're not at Daytona?

Desioux already promised me the job, Dave.  I know twins, so it was the logical choice.  He''ll still be buying both of us dinner at the restaurant in south haven.  Congratulations on your Midwest GTU Championship.  Did everyone realise that you rode all but ten minutes of the Mid-America endurance race, and WON!  Super, indeed!  Hey Desioux, you can't get back on the GP bike and win after a monster highside, this isn't playstation.  Speaking of PS2, how does assen sound?  In a full race, I'll lap you three times with McCoy!  When I pass you your stickers will peel off your bike and form large flaming tumbleweeds on the back section.  We'll save the replay and send it to, "YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!".

Dinner for a set up session?  OK, but let's do it somewhere else besides Gingerman....

Twins?  Yeah, but this is a two stoke so the desmo stuff does not apply here.  LOL!

All but ten minutes?  I have the sheet, I think it was twelve minutes.  And it was warm.  I'm still dizzy...

Thanks about the championship.  It was cool.  Three TC championships in two years.  Now I want an R1....
